This Privacy Policy explains how Function Labs Limited ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use Phoenix Solitaire ("the App"). We are committed to transparency and to collecting only the data needed to provide and improve the App.

1. Data Used by the App

Phoenix Solitaire is local-first. The App uses the following data:

• Gameplay statistics: Wins, losses, win rate, best times, current and longest streaks, achievements, and ember currency. These are stored locally on your device.
• Saved games: Your current in-progress game is saved locally so you can resume after closing the app.
• App settings: Draw mode, theme, card back, sound and haptics preferences, and other customisation choices, stored locally.
• Support messages: If you contact us by email, we retain the content of your message and your email address so we can respond to your enquiry.

2. How We Use Your Data

• App functionality: Saving your game, tracking statistics, and resuming play.
• Saving progress: Storing your current game and statistics so you can continue across sessions.
• Support: Responding to your support enquiries and bug reports.

3. Legal Basis

Gameplay data and preferences are processed locally on your device to provide the App. If you contact us, we process your support message and contact details as necessary to respond to your enquiry and provide support.

4. Data Storage

Game progress, statistics, achievements, and settings are stored locally on your device. Phoenix Solitaire does not currently require or offer a player account or cloud-sync service.

5. Third Parties

We share data with the following third parties:

• Apple Inc.: App Store distribution and platform services. Apple's privacy policy applies to data Apple collects directly.

We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

6. Cross-Promotion

Phoenix Solitaire does not use third-party advertising networks. The App may show links to other apps published by Function Labs Limited. These links are first-party cross-promotion and do not require cross-app tracking or advertising identifiers.

7. Data Retention

Local data (game progress, statistics, achievements, settings) is retained on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App. Support messages are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to respond to and resolve your enquiry.

8. Your Rights and Data Deletion

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data.
• Delete local app data stored on your device.

To delete your local data: Open the App, go to Settings → Data → Delete All My Data. This permanently removes your statistics, saved games, achievements and settings from your device.

9. Children's Privacy

Phoenix Solitaire is intended for a general audience and contains no gambling or real-money play. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without parental consent. The App is not placed in the App Store Kids Category. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes within the App and update the effective date above. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
